I've been stewing about sinc'ing multi-day events to the Palm and back. As I've said before, having my multi day events end up as single day events on E'rage after two sync's isn't acceptable. So here's my proposed workaround, on which I'd be interested in hearing comments/improvements :-)
1. On E'rage, when entering a multi-day event, assign in the "no sync" category, so it will never go over to the handheld and get turned into a 1-day event. This should solve my E'rage problems :-). 2. On the handheld, manually enter multi-day events (as repeating 1-day events, or perhaps as timed events in order to get them to show up in month view). Assign them a new category of "to delete" or something like that. After sync'ing, run an Applescript (I'm hoping this one will be easy enough to write that even I can do it) to delete the "to delete" entries from the E'rage calendar. It seems to me that this should work to get me banners on E'rage and something on the handheld. The bad part is of course having to remember to enter the banner things twice (as well as doing that). I won't be happy about that, but neither will it be as bad as the current situation.
