What kinds of things are you doing with it? Before I had a web interface to my mail server I used to use it to forward work related mail to me when I was away from home - I could borrow a computer and send Albert a command to forward all unread work mail to the address I specified. Now I have web mail access as well as IMAP I don't need that as much. At work, I used to use a command to get the computer to send me the current ip address so I could ftp into the machine. Albert was also used for remote EIMS admin from anywhere in the world. > > I can imagine that would be so great for controlling X10. I did set up an old, old Sharp MZ80K to control lights & sockets by software though. I even got it to (almost) control a model railway as well. This would have been in the late 80s. -- Barry -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
