Strange. I did it again and it worked, both to get rid of the Tasks Pane and to get it back. An easier way to check, I found, was to change whether you have the Tasks Pane open, then just close and reopen the calendar window. If you don't switch calendar views in between, the new window opens with the tasks pane as it was originally. If you do change views before closing and reopening the calendar window, the tasks pane setting "sticks" (interestingly, whether the "folders" list on the left side is open doesn't seem to stick - it is always there even if I close it before switching calendar views. I wonder if that's because I leave it there in the Mail window?) > -- > Ken Gordon > > >> From: Jan Martel <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >> Reply-To: "Entourage:mac Talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >> Date: Thu, 19 Dec 2002 09:41:14 -0800 >> To: Entourage mac Talk <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >> Subject: Re: Tasks pane >> >>> Nope Jan, doesn't work for me just unchecked the task pane and it >>> disappeared the quit Ent,X then opened Ent X and the task pane reappeared!!! >> >> Sorry, I knew I hadn't checked that that worked, just that the reverse did. >> I've now played around with it, and I think I know how to get the >> configuration one wants, although I have no idea why!
