I don't know about you, but in the "contact field" column, which I think you
are referring to, I see a little "i" in the record which is me.

The one with the little "i" is the one which officially represents "me" in
the program.  You can change this at any time by clicking another contact,
and then by going to Contact -> This contact is me.

I assume you mean you want to write down your account login and password.
This is usually done in Tools -> Accounts, where you set up e-mail accounts
for retrieval.  You could create a second contact for you (Edit -> Duplicate
Contact) and then add the information to one, though I don't see the
purpose.  I still think it's easier to put this in a safe place in print as
well as entering it into Accounts.

This will be sent with the vCard of the address book entry for yourself if
you choose to enter it.  However, if you put it in the duplicate contact and
not the "me" contact, then if you send the "me" contact, it won't show up
when you send off the message with your vCard.
