I realize that, but I never get the Spelling window to catch them, suggest
alternatives or allow corrections.  True, I can manually go through the
message and look for all the red, underlined words, but the General
Preferences:Spelling option to "Always check spelling before queuing
outgoing messages" is not functioning properly.

And most of the time, the words that are underlined for mis-spellings are
words that the spell checker does recognize as mis-spells, based on my
observation from earlier emails.
