When I work at home, I'm on a dialup connection. When I want to check my mail, I dial up and do a Send & Receive All, then go back offline. I don't want Entourage interrupting me with an error message because it tried to receive mail but had no connection to the internet. That's why this progress business is so annoying: I need to know when Entourage is actually *idle* before I can disconnect from my PPP server. Not everyone works the same way; that's why Microsoft gave us the options Connect, Cancel, and Work Online when you're working offline and do a Send & Receive All, peter -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
