But not to the same degree of reliability. I occasionally used Online Access in Entourage 2001, and I continually had problems with it. It was good to enable it if there was a corrupt message (rare), but otherwise it was not. I haven’t tried it in Entourage X as I now use IMAP for such purposes, which is much more efficient in that it allows server folders, rules, and so much more.
It's also good for deleting masses of messages from the POP server when your mailbox there gets full, if you leave messages on the server because you have several computers which all need to access the mail, or you need for some reason to access your mail from more than one email client.
