All-Day events begin at 12:00:00 AM (00:00:00). Internally, they probably code it in Universal time (GMT) so that it can be represented on-screen in whatever time zone is applicable for the event. All times in Daylight Savings Time will be an hour earlier GMT so they will display correctly. E.g. in California, where I am, PST is GMT - 0800. So in the winter, all -day events must begin at 8:00 AM GMT to show up as 12:00 AM PST. In "summer" when PDT (Daylight Tim) takes effect, they will be coded at 7:00 AM GMT to show up as 12:00 AM PDT. Since April 6 is the first day of Daylight Savings, it's been coded as 7:00 AM GMT. Unfortunately, 7:00 AM GMT is still 11:00 PM on April 5 in California (PST - Standard Time). So it shows up as April 5 in the Calendar. Someone forgot that Daylight Savings Time does not begin until 2:00 AM - probably for this very reason. 12:00 AM Pacific Time (still PST Standard Time) is 8:00 AM GMT, and that's how it should have been coded. But this is NOTHING to the date errors, and Daylight Savings error in Apple's Address Book. -- Paul Berkowitz MVP Entourage Entourage FAQ Page: http://www.entourage.mvps.org/toc.html PLEASE always state which version of Entourage you are using - 2001 or X.
