If safari would "open frame in new window", "refresh this frame", tab to submit buttons, allow submitting with the return key when on a submit button, and a few other things, I would certianly do so, I am adeveloper, not a casual browser of the web, if I were, Safari would be fine as it is, I need to often test and reload a page 1000 times, safari wont cut it, and testing form submissions to always have to use the mouse to submit the form, well, thats a waste of time when you do it all the time. > >> >> 3) Say you have a folder of unread mail, in OS 9 Entourage, I could select >> one of them, and it would go unbold, and I could press the up arrow, and >> scroll past them, and they would all be marked as "Read", now the program >> can not keep up with this, and you have to very slowly select one, wait, >> move on to the next, rinse, and repeat. > > I think there's a pref for how long it takes for a message to be marked as > "read" - yes, there is - it's in Mail and News Prefs. Makes no difference, unless you give Entourage time to show the message in the preview pane, it will not be considered read, this is new behavior. >> >> 4) deleting messages takes 2 clicks after the first message is deleted. >> Given a set of messages in a folder, click on one, click the delete icon, >> and it will be deleted, and the next message rolls into selected place, >> click the delete/trach icon, and it depresses, like it is trying to delete, >> but no message is deleted, you have to click again, and you have to do this >> for the rest of the messages you want to delete. > > I don't experience this behavior. Do it faster, and to unread messages, again related to the above, you can not delete a message while Entourage is stil trying to decide if it is read or not, you have to wait for it to fully render in the preview pane, then delete, if you click delete before that, it does nothing. Made a quick movie of this problem in action, if someone can tell me how to make this go away, that would really be nice http://www.newgeo.com/sample.mov.sit >> >> 5) Just my opinion on this one, but the "On My Computer", can there be a >> pref to make that go away, I need the space, and it serves me no purpose. > > You can click on the "hide folders" arrow to make the list of folders > disappear, is that what you mean? Nor really, I want the whole "On my computer" folder to just go away, and have my folders outside it, like they were in OS 9 Entourage. ------------------------------------------------------------- Scott Haneda Tel: 415.898.2602 http://www.newgeo.com Fax: 313.557.5052 [EMAIL PROTECTED] Novato, CA U.S.A. -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
