For the first time on my G4 in OSX, the other day when I was in Safari, I got a message that I needed to reboot!! It really scared me so I grabbed by disk warrior and rebooted and ran it. I have no clue why it was so difficult to do the updates..............guess it was just Microsoft :-) Thanks for your help.
