Yes, good advice. To be a little clearer: Usually, your data is kept in a
folder named by your Entourage identity name (often just the default "Main
Identity"), inside this folder: ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office X
Identities/. Look for that folder and see what's in it, and when it was
created. Use Finder to search for any _other_ copies of "Office X
Identities", and see if there are multiple user identity folders on your
system.

If there are, your old data may be in one of them, and entourage for some
reason is using a different identity. To recover your data:

- if you are currently using an identity folder that is empty, and your old,
valid data is in another identity folder within the same "Office X
Identities" folder, then simply use the command on the Entourage menu to
Switch Identities.

- if the identity folder Entourage is using is in a different Office X
Identities than the valid identity folder, copy that valid folder into the
"Office X Identities" folder that Entourage is using, giving it a different
user name if necessary by renaming the identity folder.

If you can't find a second identity folder anywhere on your system, you are
probably out of luck, unless you have a recent backup of your system.
