This is a multi-level question - mostly asked to the scripting mavens and those really good with AppleScript Studio:
Would it be possible to create a front-end to Apple's mail.app/address book/iCal which mimics the functionality and look of Entourage (one-window-portal to all information)? Conceptually, this should be possible, but I'm not sure about the technical aspects of tying it all together using AppleScript studio. Personally, I'm torn between the two, but I do prefer Apple's tools for a lot of reasons - hence, if such a front-end were to be created, I would be willing to pay between $50 and $100 shareware fee for it. That is, unless Entourage II goes that direction anyway.
