This isn't limited to G5 either. I see the same effect with my new 1.5GHz
17" G4 PowerBook.
It's also not limited to the Preview window. If I have an HTML email open
in ANY window in Entourage (no matter which window is in front), then the
CPU spikes and the fan turns on. If I close the HTML window, or put
Entourage in the background, the CPU load drops immediately and the fan
turns off.
I wonder if there is any more recent comment from Microsoft as to whether
this is fixed in Office 04?
