Another idea, Mark, is to set up a rule that essentially does nothing.
If <is from a mailing list>
Action: <Change priority to> Normal
And make sure the checkbox is checked to prevent any further rules from
running. Make sure this rule runs just before all the rules you want to
apply to messages other than mailing lists. Thus:
MLM runs (all rules set to allow additional rules to run)
Your rule looking for "Re:" runs.
Your rule to stop further rules on mailing list mail runs.
All other rules run on non mailing list messages.
