In Europe, I'm currently getting about 150 per day, on average. It doesn't matter where you live, it all depends on how you have used your email addresses. I have one address that has been in existence for about 12 years, which is now not used publicly. That one address gets about one third of all the spam (and about 1% real messages!). Other addresses start simply with [EMAIL PROTECTED] So are susceptible to a rumplestiltskin attack. Quite a few of the addresses are used in public groups so can be harvested by the spammers. The longer you keep a public presence, the more likely you are to get a bucket load of spam! Spamseive did a respectable job for a while, but now I find that Entourage's JMF, combined with a few judicious rules catches all but one or two a day, and no false positives. -- Barry Wainwright Microsoft MVP (see http://mvp.support.microsoft.com for details) Seen the Entourage FAQ pages? - Check them out: <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/toc.html> -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
