Title: Junk Mail Filter in O'04

Kudos to whoever wrote the new Junk Mail filter in E ‘04. I disabled 18 rules that marked email as either junk or good at the time I started running O ‘04 yesterday. The total since then (I don’t get lots of spam on the weekend, it seems) is 22 junk emails properly marked, 0 false positives, 0 false negatives. This is with the filter set to it’s second highest setting.

I also love the idea that pictures are not automatically downloaded when a questionable mail is downloaded. I’ve set the pref to download all pictures in mail in my address book, and this seems to work just fine.

One question – when mail is manually marked as junk, does the filter “learn” from this action? I’m still waiting for a false negative to try.
