Does anyone know if a photocopy of the original CD would suffice in place of the "Certificate of Authenticity" for the upgrade to Office 2004?
We have a friend who bought her Student/Teacher version in February, but never did keep the box everything came in. The plastic jewel case with the CD is all she kept. Now that she is filling out the upgrade form for Office 2004 she realizes she does not have this certificate which apparently is needed for the upgrade. What are her options?
