When I am at work, my internet access is via ethernet LAN connection to a university network. I sometimes check my Earthlink (formerly Mindspring) POP account, but I do not download these messages to my Mac at work. Instead, on that Mac I enabled the option to "Allow online access" for the Earthlink account. I also enabled the options "Leave a copy of each message on the server" and "Delete messages from server after they are deleted from this computer". I check the Earthlink account by clicking on the folder icon that represents my online messages. I then read messages and leave them on the server, if I plan to download them at home. I delete spams and messages that do not need to be stored. This scheme works fine almost all the time. It gives my POP account some of the functionality of an IMAP account. But sometimes (and only since upgrading to E'rage 2004), I get the following alert when I try to open a new message: Error: Already deleted. Explanation: The message cannot be displayed because there was an error receiving the message. Error: -16999 Note that I do not use a preview pane. I doubleclick an item in the message list to open a message window. That's when the alert appears. When I close the alert, there is a message window with header info, but nothing in the -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
