It may be an address error - but bigpond does have a few address
configurations - mine ends with bigpond.net.au for example. On my mailing
list there are a number of people with the same suffix.

I should note that this problem never occurred when I was using Claris
Emailer (until recently) and before switching to Telstra bigpond as my ISP.
One workaround I found is simply to lauch classic and use emailer to send
these emails. Obviously that is not satisfactory except for the occasional
email.
