Hi

I'm interested in the scripts for getting entourage to play well with other apps, where can I find more info?

TIA

May I assume that since there will now be a sync engine in the OS and
associated SDK for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, that the good folks within the MacBU
will be all over it in terms of syncing Entourage and the appropriate iApps
(iCal, AddressBook, Mail)?

And Paul, how is this likely to affect your fine scripting efforts?

If it's something that MS can use, and they do so, then that will replace the need for my scripts. Anything that uses such a method would be much faster than anything AppleScript can do. Time will tell whether a sync between two different applications which are structured differently (e.g. Entourage and iCal) or have different fields (Entourage and Address Book) will sync neatly - it will surely depend partly on the implementation. It's always possible that it might not be as precise as what my scripts do. But most people probably will only be concerned with syncing Entourage on various computers and devices with each other, so that won't even matter. We'll just have to wait and see. I expect it will be quite some time before any of this can happen.

Mind agog at the possibilities.
