I didn't change my reasoning. I said the first time that a single file is bad. But if they're not going to change, then we're stuck with whatever alternative they can come up with.
So the answer is yes. :-) But the latter isn't that important. The former is. Secure data is more important than speed of the search function, since if the file is nuked, searching won't do squat. And all this moaning and groaning on my part has nothing to do with the Exchange side of things either since the mail remains on the server, does it? And Exchange is the main reason I use Entourage at work. That and Project Center. I'm far from the only one who has told you guys a single-file database is not a good idea. But all this being said, I LOVE Entourage at work.
