Hi Geoff and Remo,

Thanks for this valuable information. If applicable I'll comment on my
experiences when I update my iMacs to above the 512 MB

Thankful regards,
Joris

Hello All,

The Slotload iMac G3 can take a max of 1 GB of RAM, 2 by 512 MB in each
slot.

The reason Apple say 512 MB is the max, is that when released the 512 MB RAM
Chips were not available, the documentation does not usually get updated.

To find the RAM Specs and all sorts of info about Macs, get the Application
Mactracker from <versiontracker.com> or the developers site
<http://www.mactracker.ca/>
