I think Entourage is using Stuffit compression, which requires a license through Allume. You're supposed to buy a license from Allume to use their compression software. Or, you can just right-click the file/folder in the Finder and "Create Archive", then send that. The compression is almost as good, and will work for PC and Mac users (although resource forks will look funny to PC users...).
