Bob, I remember this coming up as part of a discussion of a TV program "After Man," A quick search on the internet found a photo album on the North Wilkesboro Speedway, an original North Carolina NASCAR track that was abandoned in 1996.

Here's the weirdest part: A section of the park is an old NASCAR sanctioned race track complete with concrete bleachers and press boxes all going to rot and being overtaken by forest.
