Trident, swamp, and red maple are all common names for the same tree,
Acer rubrum.  I thought it was a silver maple when I saw the picture,
but the best way to tell would be the tips and buds of the tree.
Right now the tips and buds should be bright red. and in spring the
flowers with be bright red if it is Acer rubrum (red maple) if it is a
silver maple, the buds and stems will be more yellow/brown.
