James, I do not think Google has any limits on the age of data it retains or the amount. In any case I am keeping copies of the each days digest of the posts and of the attachments to the posts. It certainly will not be permanent the doing it the old way unless someone spends the time to actually maintain it. I would be happy to turn the process over to someone who wanted to keep the website going as I had been doing it, but short of that, this is my only option. Not everything on the website is just discussion list posts. There are various types of compilations and the like. It still will take much time to even keep up the website in this new way of doing it, but that is the only thing I can think of to manage to keep it going.
