Firstly i think you need a new crystal ball!!

> I predict that within three to four years Canon will have 10 to 12 mega
> pixel EOS cameras.
no...more like 1 to 2 years. phillips showcased a 16mp sensor some time ago

> They will have specially designed lenses for it that will

> capture. Prices will be reasonable and these chip will be integrated in to
> the EOS line up. So we will have 10mp or 12mp sensors in each camera

> advanced and finally the Pro model.
no....all cameras will use full frame sensors providing a 1:1 area compared
to a 35mm negative. this will make the change over from 35mm to digital
easier for those with a large EF investiment.

> In three to four years 35mm sales will drop dramatically and continue to
> head off into oblivion.
maybe...there are many people on this list who will always turn their noses
up at digital.

> When Canon brought out the EOS they said they would be future compatible
and
> they have not let us down. I am still waiting to hear (any day now) that
> there will be a 6mp EOS
the EOS-D1v rumoured for next year when the contract with kodak ends will be
the first all canon pro digital slr. this will herrald a new era, a full
frame digital EOS...look at the contax.
