This weekend, after shooting two rolls of film, I noticed that the camera
stopped focusing the target, and looking at the lens (an old and very good
EF28-70 mkIII), I noticed that the front element is loose and even manually
I can't run all the distance scale. Do you think it's worth to repair it? I
like this lens very much (only too noisy...), but due to its age and
commercial value, what do you think? Is this a known problem with this or
other lenses? It's the first time it occured to me, the only difference was
that the two rolls were taken with high air humidity, I had to clean the
lens several times, because it was condensing...

Thanks for any help

Fernando Gomes
