No. There is but a single collar. You rotate it to focus and push/pull to zoom.
I have only owned three zooms and all three worked this way. It is intuitive and
allows full control with a single collar. Much better IMO than the concept of two
collars. I had not thought about the push-pull design being more susceptible to
"breathing" dust but I guess that might well be so.
Still dislike the two collar approach though . . . although my kit is a "zoom-free
zone"
right now. So I "have no dog in this fight."
