Folks -
I'm sorry to burden the list with OT questions, but I'm on enough
lists already and this is the only photo list I want to be on right
now. Please respond offllist if you are so inclined. OTOH, maybe
others here have similar q's.
Just two questions: 1) I need to buy a slide projector, and I'm
looking at a Braun unit that also features a fairly large viewer. I'm
looking at model number 2000AF:

or the 353 AF, of which I haven't seen an image.
What I want to know is how is this machine? Does it do well as a
wall projector as well? Or should I just go for the ol' Kodak
carousel? The kodak viewer/projectors are out of my price range.
And: 2) looking through the projection screens at B&H, I am totally
bewildered at the variety, and I have no idea what most of the specs
mean. What should I look for in a screen that will do nice sharp
images at moderate distances for not to much money? Maybe up to about
$150. If there were something like an "entry-level pro" screen, that
would probably do it.
