I am thinking of enbarking on some IR laser related project, but can't justify the cost of specialized IR viewer/scope etc. to determine the emitted pattern. >From reading some threads about IR filter for video camera a couple of months ago, I was wondering if similar filters are place in front of the lens of a video or digital camera, say a D-30 or even one of the cheaper P&S type digital cameras, if the 900 nm wavelength IR beam can be seen on the electronic display and/or recorded on video tape/memory cards?
