When I read this, I read of someone who does really *need* to go
digital because that is the way journalism has gone. The speed
advantages outweigh anything and everything else.
I still get bewildered by others (specifically nature photographers)
going digital then going into quality-denial when their images don't
measure up.
Maybe when we get a TRUE 6-MPixel camera (that is 6 * RGBG pixels)
with an optical viewfinder (so you can still focus properly) I will
think about it ...
Actually, I wish there was a 300-dollar naff-quality version for
on-the-spot proofing (a digital back for my macro lenses) wu=ith the
intent of continuing to strive for the achievable 80-MPixel equivalent
resolution of fine grained film ;o)
