You should try it out with a roll of film to see the result for yourself.
While I don't have this lens myself, an ex list member swears it's the best
photo journalist lens because of its' coverage, with that 10X zoom coverage
however, comes with the inherent downside of compromise in lens design where
some people have reported the lens to be a little on the soft side.
Ultimately you have to determine for yourself if the quality is sufficient
for your need.
