Hmmm... I've been changing films quite a lot, but not that much between
the cameras, EOS 50e and 3, that I both own. I've never had any problems.
Sorry to ask, but are you guys sure you always load the film the same way?
I mean, the camera probably counts the holes when it winds to the first
frame, so if you pull the film too far out the counter might miss some
holes. Or does the cameras count different number of holes? (This would be
strange as then I'd had to have the same problem...)

But one safety frame once in a while... not too much to pay for the safety
it gives.
