Hi Gary,

It seemed to me that Charles has already decided to look for a used
EOS 630. My list was meant as a guide to help in evaluating bodies
for potential purchase. (Good luck Charles)

While shopping for a replacement for my modified but aged EOS 1000FN
I had carefully looked over several 630 bodies. I nearly bought one
that came with a TB-E, but there was no remote release socket, the
eyecup was missing, and the backlight was not working. It had
obviously been well used (as much as my EOS 1000FN), so I eventually
bought another newer EOS body.

I thought that the GR-20 provided a wired remote SHUTTER release.
And that a PC connection was to synchronize off-camera flash.

Does the PC connection on your EOS 630 do something different?
Where did you get the modification done?

Cheers
Julian Loke
