I'm on the 3rd set of batteries in mine, works delightfully when used on the
EOS30.
The tilt and swivel head is really a must for wireless slave work.  FEC is
adjusted from the camera body, as there is no override controls on the flash
itself.  Construction is adequately solid (except for battery cover, which
needs to be handled carefully).  The flash charges up quite fast on fresh
batteries, I normally won't need to wait even one second for the next flash
shot. :)
The zooming can be a little loud though, at least when matched with USM lens
and EOS30.
