Hi Pattie,

It sounds like you have the same requirements I have, I like to shoot out my
bag on the run and need what to many would seem like a lot of stuff. For
this I found the Domke line of shooter's bags to be the best. I tried
several other brands of bags but they none are oriented the way I like to
work and I hate to have to unload a back pack to get what I need for a shot
only to have to pack it back in the pack. So I use Domke's bags with the US
postal service shoulder pad an am a happy man!

I have some similar length lenses and am using larger EOS 1n/1nRS bodies and
need to be able to carry an EF 300 2.8L in the bag at times. The bag that
fits me best is the Domke J1 bag, for your use and smaller bodies I think
the J2 may be a better choice unless you want to have a very roomy bag for
the bodies and lenses you have mentioned. The J2 is plenty tall enough to
put the EF 300 4L and EF 70-200 2.8L in with hoods reversed or stacked and
on top of the capped long lenses. The J1 bag is 2" taller and 2" wider and
absolutely swallows an EF 300 4L or EF 70-200 2.8L and very comfortably
accommodates an EF 300 2.8L with hood reversed along with two EOS 1n bodies
and boosters, spare NiCad packs, an EF 28-70 2.8L, 550EZ all the film I will
shoot in an afternoon at the track, filters cleaning stuff, sharpies etc..

The J series bags are also much more secure than the traditional Domke bags
in that they use quick release buckles on the fitted end pocket covers vs.
Velcro on the simple flaps of the regular Domke bags. They are water and
weather resistant and bomb-proof, very durable and have no obvious markings
outside. I like them so much I have several!

Regards,

Chip Louie
