Also note, that f/1.8 is quite a bit faster than f/2.8. You shouldn't
compare at different apertures. A fair comparison would be both lenses
at f/2.8. The 50/1.0L is for sure a lot less sharp at f/1.0 than any
consumer zoom at f/3.5. ;-)
