Hi Tom,

A change of focusing screens will not alter the % of what you see in the
finder, this is determined by the mirror and prism sizes and geometry.
Unless you shoot a lot of technical images I'd stick with the plain screen.

I had a couple of EOS 5QD bodies with VG-10 grips that I loved to shoot but
I could never quite get used to the 94% finder image.  I too struggled for
some time with this problem before giving up, I shoot mostly chromes and
this was one of the primary reasons I switched to the EOS 1n bodies.
