I shot some test shots using Tokina 28-80, Canon 28-105, Canon 28-135. I will post results later but there was really not much difference, marginal mostly.
MLU, Tripod, Provia 100f, 4000dpi scan..... Tokina has the advantage of 2.8. Canon 28-105 is small and cheap, 28-135 longer range (esp with D30) and IS. Will sell one, but can't decide. Seems more like the 28-135 will be gone since it is more expensive, and 28-105 is pretty cool with the 1.6 multiplier of my D30. I will run one last test, using the D30. Do you think it might show any differences? Anyway - hard choice. longer range vs f2.8.... -e * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
