Hi Cousin <g> Yes, you're correct about TTL only. When I had my 1n, I almost always used the 540EZ with an OSC 2, which forced the flash into TTL mode. To be honest with you, I never noticed much practical difference between A-TTL and TTL. I don't think you'll have any problems. TTL still calculates the exposure for you. What you give up is the distance-measuring pre-flash, which was used to pre-select an appropriate aperture, IIRC. If you were going to run into any problem, I'd expect it to be only at the extremes of distance, where A-TTL might choose a wider or smaller aperture than plain TTL will. I'd suggest taking a couple of test shots at the farthest distance you're likely to encounter, and watch the confirmation light (don't forget the OTF flash sensor won't work correctly without film in the camera). Or, you could switch the camera to manual mode, and set the shutter at max sync speed and the lens to a fairly wide aperture, and let the flash worry about the rest.
