Hi Mike, I did find a generic-brand rubber eyecup that would fit my EOS 1000FN with its Eb sized eyepiece (that is the same size as the one on the EOS-1 and the Elan). While not as large and bulky as the Ed-E eyecup, it is more substantial than the original Eb rubber bumper that came with (and fell off) my camera. I bought it to scavenge the rubber eyecup to fit it on my Angle Finder B to prevent it adding more scratches to my prescription glasses :-( Strangely, the accessory eyecup was meant to be compatible with Pentax or Minolta (I forget which). Perhaps you could try an off-brand one, since they are cheaper than the Canon alternative. It looked something like this: http://porterscamerastore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Cod e=10-0355 Hope this helps Julian Loke * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
