Just learned that a large German mail order company sells new Tamron 
Adaptall -> EOS adapters, like in the early days of EOS (since then 
production seized, and they were and are hard to find on the used 
market (although an easy workaround exists in the combination of  
Adaptall->M42 & M42->EOS).
But: these new Adaptall->EOS adapters don't carry the name Tamron, 
they seem aftermarket^2....:))
(must have been 20 years since the patent was issued, so legally 
there wasn't any problem for producing it, I guess)
