I am saying if the warranty does not cover specifically a certain country (US, Canada,
UK, Slovenia,...) than it is not good there.
If you buy Canon equipment in the US, you only have US & Canada warranty. So this is
no good in Germany (and UK,...).
That is (I guess) because the service & repair costs are funded by selling provisions.

ps: if it says it is worldwide, it probably is. Do you have worldwide warranty for
your Canon equipment? Did you pay extra for it?
