lists an infrared cordless flash syncher that's only 35 bucks!

Interestingly, they show it on an EOS digital rebel I think. They say
it's not for AF film SLRs, nor Nikon digitals, nor E20 or E10, but I
think it's safe for the EOS digital cameras. Works PC cord or hot
shoe, even comes with a cord so it'll work off camera.

Has anyone tried this unit?

I'm hoping this unit does not emmit a preflash, and would trigger any
flash unit on an optical slave in the usual manner.
