Hi Mike,

The EF 70-200 2.8L IS is not just about the IS!  The IS version is sharper
than the non-IS version and mode 2 IS is the bomb if you are a sport or
wildlife shooter.  I wish I could justify buying and EF 300 2.8L IS to
replace my EF 300 2.8L non-IS but seeing how I'm shooting buildings and
products so much lately I can hardly justify the expense.  Sigh...
