Hi all,

I'm a recent happy owner of an EOS 5D. I bought it just before going
on holidays last week and came back with 14GB of pics. I could finally
play with the ISO dial without scrupulous and I'm very impressed about
the low noise levels. The images are sharp and clear right out of the
camera.
I have now to figure out the right workflow for those heavy weights...
:-) (I shoot everything in Raw)

A little question: I'm using the battery pack and each time I remove
it, I've to enter the time and date again. Is this normal or am I
looking at a drained data battery in the new body? Given that their
normal life is about 3-4 years, I find this really odd.

I'm asking just in case it's one of those common bugs everybody (but
me) knows of...
Normally is should be covered by the warranty, but I'm not sure a
claim and 4 weeks repair time is worth the price of the little
battery.

-greetings,

Gerard.
