That is probably because your 'simple' quote contains even the admin- footer, which is a 100% indication of sloppy quoting....and filtered out by Majordomo. If I would allow even that, then the result will also be the 'simple' quoting of multiple previous emails, plus a digest that is completely messed up. So, while I can't filter out reverse quoting, I can filter out the excesses that come with it.... If you would quote the normal way, there is *very* little chance that you would still included that admin-footer, because you *see* it yourself....which, on itself, is the best reason to *not* reverse- quote. The argument 'for email filtering' is a bad one, because you shouldn't filter on subject-headers/-prefixes in the first place, but on the 'Reply-To:' header....otherwise even private replies (with the same subject-header) will end up in your EOS-folder, with no indication that they *are* private. > Was wondering if the list owner might be able to fix > this.
