Hi first it was said:
> >You no longer have to worry about the cost of film. Shoot more photos. then there was a discussion on how to set up storage for all those pictures, and naturally that might cost some money. My advice would be perhaps to be fairly serious about deleting any images that you don't like. Also be aware of a dissease called "camera diarrhea" it becomes acute with "motordrive" and digital in combination. Economy of image taking (or at least image keeping) needs to prevail. Have you ever sat infront of your lightbox with 36 images of a sunset (or whatever) and tried to pick the best one? Worse, if you're using RAW you'll then have to 'tweak that image' in your editor of choice too. This spells time. So while everyone loves digital cameras "because it got them out of the darkroom" or "away from scanning" just be sure that you don't create a new mill-stone for your neck. Now, this is all about learning a new balance of knowing when and what to photograph as digital changes the equation substantially. Because it doesn't cost you any extra to take a picture you might find yourself not taking pictures when perhaps you should have (ahh ... that's not worth an exposure). I find myself thinking "damn, I was there for 3 years, and I never photographed XXXX" hope this helps :-) * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
