The general consensus is that it should be very similar to Fedora's orphaning. So if you could take the package there, you should be able to take the package in EPEL. But, you hit on the one big problem, and the reason we haven't written anything up. Currently, there is no way for anyone to grab an "Epel-Only" orphan package. In addition, there is no way for anyone to Orphan EPEL Only. The reason packages get into that state is because they get orphaned in Fedora, someone takes them, in Fedora, and whoever takes them doesn't do anything with the EPEL settings. Troy
